Golly Goshkins! : D
so much to tell and so little time!
Last weekend my birthday spoiling continued! I was taken on a magical mystery tour, that ended up at the swissotel in Market... where lee had booked the best room they had, and had organised a surprise dinner for me, with Jason and Rick at J.P Bastiani - a seafood restaurant in the 'otel.
A full seafood buffet... more bugs prawns, oysters etc than you could ever imagine eating! followed by all sorts of delicious deserts... lee had me hiding a Creme Broulee in my bag till we got upstairs where the feasting continued!

What a fantastic night.. to a backdrop of the city lights and skyline!

On Sunday we had a yummy breakfast - and then headed home...
Lee then took me out to buy some pots and plants at bunnings!
Oh... such a spoil!!! lucius has since decided to spite us, by first demolishing lee's only plant in the garden, and then moving on to one of my new coloured calla lilies in my birthday pot!! GRRRRRRRRR!!!

Monday morning was Lee's endoscopy! She was the sweetest little thing.. I went to give her support, but while they were putting her drip in i think the roles changed! i was definitely the non-coper of the two of us!

When they wheeled her trolley into the operating theatre, i waved good bye and went out and got some air... when i got back, she was out of the theatre, and in recovery... she was the sweetest little thing... out like a light... I sneaked in and sat down beside her, gave her a kiss, and talked to her to let her know i was there.... no response! so i sat there and read my book (side note: Book is Cecilia:Bio of nun restarting in Sydney - which is still heavy going mum!) anyway about 10 mins later her surgeon walks in and says.... "still asleep is she?" and then yelled at her to wake her and talk about her results... Poor little lee almost sat bolt upright, and proceeded to have a conversation that only I and the surgeon will remember... was pretty funny! she can be a feisty little thing!... was a pretty special day for me... and not being at work made it even more so!

The rest of this week has been interesting... more news on the job front... this company is sloppy when it comes to organisation.. too many cooks i fear... mind you, if they offer me the job, there will be one more on board!

I went to a Managerial Leadership Course this week... was interesting, and very much socially orientated... lots of role playing in which i seemed to get the bitch roles every time... hmmm... what do you think that means!

Otherwise things are plodding along nicely...
had better do some work, but will be back soon!
