I have had lots of comments on how little work i must do to have the time to be able to draw the diagram of the house... to all you cynics... i claim advanced skills in MSPAINT!!!, and that was done in a cggie break! you bastards! Its primary role is to help us plan... you lucky things just get to see it!

Extra Extra, read all about it! Relocation on the cards.
After a bit of bargaining with the real estate, we have managed to upsize, without a major downgrade, for less...
New address Cary Street, Marrickville. Its about 15 mins further out, but the house and block are twice the size of our current place.
When we first saw the house, there were a few problems... Like the outside WC and the Dank uuugly carpet that was throughout the house. Luckily, after a conversation with the real estate about our concerns, they agreed to bring the WC inside, (woohoo) and pull up the carpets, and polish the floors!! OMG! far better that i had expected. The real estate agent is also happy to hold onto the property for us until our lease is up on Henderson, so we don't have to double up on rent, and they are going to try and get the work done before we move in.. I couldn't imagine a better deal! see diagram below.
we were ready to pull into gear, and get moving this weekend, but luckily, we have a bit of time to get things ready for the move.
the down side of this is that we will have to spend more time in Alex, thinking about all the things we are going to miss.....
I took the boys out to see it last night, and they think its a goer! we were worried that we were going to make the wrong decision, but the boys are supportive, so we are feeling more confident. As i drove them out to see it last night, there was a tinge of excitement as i drove there down Illawarra rd, full of shops... like a little mini King street of 5 years ago... not so done up, but full of exciting and interesting things to look at... and Woolworth's is literally just around the corner. Bus stop at the end of the street... maybe about 10 houses away! and still only 20 mins from the city.
Our new next-door neighbour is the lesso that owns the real-estate agent, and seems to have taken a shine to us over the last 6 years... loves the animals, and has been very welcoming... her niece is our property agent, so we are going to see a lot of them all! They have ducks next door, and if anyone knows Triggers history with ducks they will know this is a little bit of a concern. God.. please keep trigger and lucius away from the ducks!
we had a feeling that 2004 held change for us... we didn't expect this kinda change, but its a opportunity that was too good to miss.

Change is on the wind.... tonight we have to make a desision about wether we are going to move out to marrickville to a cheaper house.. It will save us a lot in rent, and has a larger yard for our boys.... but i am not one for change... if comfortable, it takes a good hard shove to get me to move! Lots of positives, a few negatives... Pretty freaked out by the whole thing. If we take it we have to sign the lease straight away.. so that will mean MOOVIN TIME! god give me strength!
will update tomorrow on what happened!
Meanwhile we had a lovely time in canberra, apart from the sad reason we went. So nice to see the family!
