Today i am NOT going to go on with the usual Monday drear..
We had the nicest weekend... On Friday we had a nice relaxing time at home and gave each other our valentines cards etc... as they were burning holes in our pockets!... Saturday morning we awoke juts in time for me to get to Paddington to have my Ella Facial... what bliss... we headed into Paddington, where lee dumped me at Ella bache, and went for a potter! My facial was unreal! but i am still struggling to understand the costing!!! I am going to get a tube of their facial exfoliate! and start charging 80 bucks a pop for a quick application!!! After that we had lunch on oxford street, and then lee took me up to MAC to have a spoil on some makeup!!
OMG!!! i have the best stuff in my collection... I bought a eye paint in a neutral goldy pink, an unreal brush, and a unreal green eye shadow! woohoo!!!!

We then went home and relaxed for a while... Lisa dropped over and we had a catch up for a while... was so nice to see her again... she is looking fabbo... and like she has had a wonderful time!

we left at about 6.30 to head out on a valentines adwenture! we drove all the way out to Blacktown to go to a Sri Lankan restaurant out there called the curry leaf!! YUM!!! we ordered about two dishes each, and planned to take home anything we didn't finish!
To our great disappointment there seemed to be a misunderstanding... and even though we had asked to take away the left overs, they somehow made it to the bin!!! we then tried to reorder the seeni sambal so we could take it home for lee to have on toast, but they had run out!!! Qu elle d'omage!!!

There was a little Sri Lankan Spice and video store next door, so we popped in to get the next best thing... all the ingredients we needed to make our own! I stank of curry powder all weekend!!! My favourite purchase was the curry leaf plant!! YAY... little curry leaves growing in my garden!!! YUM!

We went home and relaxed and played some playstaton, and watched a little fox! was a Fabbo night! Very Romantic!!

On Sunday we awoke knowing we had to get to Broadway by 12pm for lee's hair cut! we had some breakfast and dashed out the door... lee's haircut was quick, so we thought we would have a wander about! A pair of sneakers, a new coat for work, a new Singlet, and some curl hair product later we left! I feel so guilty about my spoiling... but who am i to stop her from doing what she wants! ;) It is definitely Lee's spoil next! we pottered around the house for the rest of the day, gave Lucius a bath and had a yummy dinner...

All in all an unreal weekend! Wish it wasn't over!

Mum and Dad are coming over for dinner on Wednesday, and we have Fair day on the weekend... Lots of good things to look forward to!
No complaints coming from my way...

On a more serious note...
We were alerted to the riots last night at about nine when Josh tried to get to our place and found the roads were barricaded up! The papers this morning are full of sad pictures and articles...

The situation is so sad, and the boy being impaled is Horrible, but i think there is a bit of confusion between the great sadness they are feeling, and wether or not blame can actually be attributed to anyone...

I know it is always easier if you can attribute blame...

However, i cant see a police officer forcing a child to impale themselves! and i do know the police have a hard time in Redfern (i can find myself having a hard time in Redfern at the hands of the locals!), and don't blame them in the slightest for being a little heavy handed when it comes to policing the area.. I also don't think that, if people running from the police find themselves injured, that the police are responsible! Argh... its a tricky topic, and a tricky suburb...

I hope everyone has a good week!
